The 21st of December 2022, the new LINDA. magazine was available in bookshops in the Netherlands. This was a very special edition, because three powerful women shared their personal stories about FGM/C. I am so proud of them and would like to thank the LINDA. team for a very nice collaboration!

The 2nd of October 2022, an article was published in the 'Nederlands Dagblad' about the Dutch approach to Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGM/C) care and prevention. Dr. Annemarie Middelburg was interviewed as an expert by journalist Annegina Randewijk about the current actions taken by the government.

Newspaper article about the Dutch Law of Names that discriminates against women

The 2nd of May 2022, an article was published in a Dutch daily morning newspaper. The Law of Names in the Netherlands is unfortunately still a true example of unequal treatment and direct sex discrimination. After a few court cases in other European countries, we believe is time for the Dutch government to take action and change this law.
